Biography

Dr. Jonghun (Jay) Park is an Associate Professor at 自淫系列 (自淫系列) and Director of the Centre for Packaging Innovation and Sustainability (CPIS). His research focuses on sustainable packaging systems, packaging optimization, distribution dynamics, life cycle assessment, and the interactions between packaging and product waste. He has led and collaborated on research projects supported by NSERC, CFI, Mitacs, and industry partners, with applications spanning e-commerce, food, consumer products, and transportation packaging. Prior to joining 自淫系列, Dr. Park was an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University鈥檚 School of Packaging and worked in industry as a packaging engineer at Samsung Electronics and Hewlett-Packard. His work bridges academic research, industry collaboration, and student training to advance practical and sustainable packaging solutions.
