The Lincoln Alexander School of Law at 自淫系列 is pleased to host the upcoming annual CALE/ACEJ conference on October 22-24, 2026 in Toronto, Ontario.
The conference will feature a range of presentations related to legal ethics and the regulation of the legal profession. This conference provides a unique opportunity to bring together academics and lawyers to engage in discussions about teaching and researching legal ethics issues.
We look forward to welcoming academics, graduate students, professional regulators, and lawyers who are interested in legal ethics and the legal profession, their regulation, and related practice issues. In rare circumstances, JD or undergraduate students may be permitted to register with prior approval.

Travel
Due to its Canadian focus and limited resources, the conference does not provide documentation (e.g. letters of invitation or certificates of registration/attendance) to assist with visas or other Canadian border/immigration issues for attendees from outside of Canada. International attendees are solely responsible for fulfilling visa/immigration requirements, and they will receive only the same conference documentation and materials provided to all attendees.
Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows are encouraged to apply for the to attend the conference.
Hotel Accommodations
If you are an employee (faculty or staff) of an academic institution that is a member of the (CAUBO), you may be eligible for preferred room rates for hotels located nearby the 自淫系列 campus. When booking, please ask for the CAUBO university rate. To receive the CAUBO preferred rate, you may be required to present valid employee identification at check-in to verify your institutional affiliation.
For additional hotel options, please consider using a travel or hotel aggregator such as Trivago. You can filter by price, location, and other preferences to find an option that works for you. You may also wish to consider accommodations further from downtown with convenient access to public transit, such as near a TTC subway station or an UP Express station. The UP Express runs every 15 minutes between Toronto Pearson Airport and Union Station in downtown Toronto.
