 飥 Experiential learning opportunities: Internship mandatory

As you learn to design, produce, and manage printed materials, packaging and other physical media, you鈥檒l build high-demand skills in design software, sustainable packaging, visual communication and production management. With over 75 years of industry connections and a built-in work-placement, you'll graduate with real-world experience, a strong project portfolio and the network to launch your career in a fast-moving and creative industry. You鈥檒l also put your skills to work in a professional setting, thanks to a paid internship.

This is a Grades-Only program. Admission decisions for Grades-Only programs are based on academic performance.

Academic requirements for full-time, 4-year program

To be considered for admission, Ontario high school students must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Completion of 6 Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 70%
  • Completion of the following required courses (minimum grade of 65% in each):
  • Grade 12 U English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • Grade 11 U or M or Grade 12 U mathematics (one of: MCF3M, MCR3U, MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U)
  • Recommended: Grade 12 M Principles of Financial Accounting (BAT4M) and/or Communication Technology (TGJ4M)

An overall average of 70% is required for consideration. Due to competition, the average needed for admission can fluctuate each year (it depends on the number of applications received and the number of spaces available). The grade range at the top of this page represents the average required in previous years.

Academic admission requirements for all other applicants are available on the admission requirements page. If you haven鈥檛 been educated in Ontario, you may be considered with the equivalent of the Ontario requirements. 自淫系列 reserves the right to determine equivalency at its sole discretion.

GCM student group wins 10th TAGA Helmut Kipphan Cup

自淫系列鈥檚 Graphic Communications Management student group took home the Helmut Kipphan Cup at the 2026 TAGA Annual NextGen Conference, their 10th win since 2008. Their entry featured 5 research papers, a custom-designed journal, innovative adhesive-free packaging and a dedicated website. The team now sets its sights on a milestone 11th win in 2027.
