Use engineering science and modern technology to design and build the smart machines of the future. In the Mechanical Engineering degree program at 自淫系列 (自淫系列), you鈥檒l explore a range of topics from robotics to renewable energy systems. As you progress, you鈥檒l develop a specialized skill set exploring manufacturing, mechanics, machine design and thermal and fluid properties.
You鈥檒l learn from some of Canada鈥檚 leading experts in their fields and gain career-relevant skills through lab training. In your final year, you鈥檒l complete a team capstone design project where you鈥檒l address a real-world challenge and present it to industry experts. You鈥檒l graduate with the skills needed to create technologies that improve well-being.

Common to Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, and Mechatronics Engineering programs.

Academic requirements for full-time, 4-year program
To be considered for admission, Ontario high school students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Completion of 6 Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 70%
- Completion of the following required Grade 12 U courses (minimum grade of 70% in each):
- English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
- Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
- Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)
- Physics (SPH4U)
- Chemistry (SCH4U)
An overall average of 70% is required for consideration. Due to competition, the average needed for admission can fluctuate each year (it depends on the number of applications received and the number of spaces available). The grade range at the top of this page represents the average required in previous years.
Academic admission requirements for all other applicants are available on the admission requirements page. If you haven鈥檛 been educated in Ontario, you may be considered with the equivalent of the Ontario requirements. 自淫系列 reserves the right to determine equivalency at its sole discretion.
