Thinking of transferring to 自淫系列 from another college or university and there鈥檚 no formal pathway? We鈥檇 love to have you! Here鈥檚 what you should know:

• We鈥檙e going to look at your overall academic performance. Along with reviewing your results from post-secondary studies, we'll be assessing your academic background to ensure that you鈥檝e achieved the minimum grades in all subject prerequisites. Review the subject requirements on our program pages.
• The average (cumulative grade point average) required to transfer is dependent on the 自淫系列 program and the level of competition each year. Each of our programs has limited enrolment. 
• In order to transfer to 自淫系列, you should be eligible to continue your studies at your previous school. If you鈥檝e received an academic standing that prevents you from enrolling in courses there (e.g. Required to Withdraw), you won鈥檛 be eligible for admission to a program at 自淫系列 until the term of suspension/withdrawal has been served, or until one year after the status was assigned, whichever comes first. More information about this policy can be found in the Undergraduate Calendar.

Our internal database for 自淫系列 applicants contains courses from recognized/accredited institutions in Ontario and across Canada. It鈥檚 not comprehensive but it can be used as a guide to transfer credits that we鈥檝e recently granted. 

If you鈥檝e applied for admission to a program, you can check if we鈥檝e recently granted transfer credits for your courses by logging in to  and submitting a Transfer Credit Application (detailed step-by-step instructions are available on the MyServiceHub Support: How to Apply for Transfer Credits page). 

If your courses haven't been evaluated for transfer credit (this will be indicated as 鈥淣o Rule鈥�), you鈥檒l need to upload a detailed course outline. In this case, the evaluation of your courses can only be done after you accept an Offer of Admission.

Out-of-province students

If you鈥檝e studied at a Canadian college or university and applied to 自淫系列, you can check our database to find out if your courses have recently been approved for transfer credits. Visit our transfer credits page for college and university students to find out more.

University and college studies completed outside of Canada

If you鈥檝e received and accepted an Offer of Admission, we encourage you to apply for transfer credits for courses completed at an accredited post-secondary institution anywhere in the world. You鈥檒l be required to upload a detailed course outline for each course. Visit Transfer Credits for more information about transfer credit eligibility and applications.

To transfer undergraduate programs, submit a 自淫系列 Application Form and 自淫系列 supplementary form. 

To change your plan or major (e.g. Criminology to Philosophy, Civil Engineering to Mechanical Engineering, Biology to Medical Physics, etc.) visit MyServiceHub Support: How to Change My Plan or Major for instructions. 

• Some programs may specify non-academic requirements for admission (e.g. portfolio, interview, audition, etc.). Visit the applicable program page for requirements, submission dates and procedures.
• You don鈥檛 need to apply for transfer credits for courses completed at 自淫系列. Visit the current or previous 自淫系列 students section of the Transfer Credits website for more information about 自淫系列 courses and Advisement Reports.
• Courses completed prior to starting your new program won鈥檛 be included in the calculation of your cumulative grade point average.

Have you been assigned an Academic Standing of Required to Withdraw (RTW)?

After one term of suspension

Consider the Fresh Start transfer program. Determine if your desired program accepts Fresh Start transfer requests by checking the Fresh Start program participation criteria. This program is beneficial because you may receive credit for courses in the program.

After 12 months (3 terms) of suspension

If you haven鈥檛 enrolled in the Fresh Start transfer program, you can submit a 自淫系列 Application Form to request admission to another program after 12 months. For example, if you鈥檙e assigned an RTW standing in January 2027 and you don鈥檛 participate in the Fresh Start transfer program, the earliest you can enter another 自淫系列 program would be January 2028. Be sure to check if the program is accepting applications. No courses taken within the 12 month suspension period will be eligible for 自淫系列 degree credit.  

Have you been assigned an Academic Standing of Permanent Program Withdrawal (PPW)?

You can apply to transfer to another 自淫系列 program, for the fall semester, in the next calendar year following your PPW status. For example, if you鈥檙e assigned a PPW standing in January or May 2027, you can apply to another 自淫系列 program for September 2028. Submit a 自淫系列 Application Form.

Your complete academic history is considered in our review of your application. This includes all secondary and post-secondary studies, and any courses currently in progress. You must declare all secondary and post-secondary institutions you鈥檝e attended and you must submit transcripts from each institution. Secondary school transcripts aren鈥檛 required if you鈥檙e applying to one of our formal pathways.

Along with reviewing performance in your post-secondary studies, we'll be assessing your academic background to ensure that you鈥檝e achieved the minimum grades in all required subjects. Review the subject requirements on our program page.

The averages/grades required for admission are determined on the basis of competition each year. Unfortunately, possession of minimum averages and/or grades doesn't guarantee admission.

Submit a special consideration form if there鈥檚 information you feel should be considered in our review of your application. This may include circumstances that affected your grades. Any/all information you provide on this form will be kept confidential.

If you鈥檙e admitted to an undergraduate degree program, you must complete at least one half (50%) of the program鈥檚 curriculum at 自淫系列. This means that your prior studies can count for a maximum of 50% of your program's requirements. 

If your complete post-secondary diploma or degree is used to admit you to an upper level:

• Individual courses and associated transfer credits will not be recorded on your 自淫系列 transcript.
• Courses can't be used to apply for additional transfer credit (unless otherwise stated in an Offer of Admission).
• The original grades in your courses will not be recorded on your 自淫系列 academic record.
• Grades in previous courses will not be used in the 自淫系列 GPA calculation.
